For Tea and Country

Winnipeg, Raise Anchor!

Full steam ahead! Naughty Sailboat EMTC (Evil Media Theatre Company) in conjunction with the Winnipeg Fringe Festival proudly presents its third major theatrical endeavour: For Tea and Country is a tale of revenge and forgiveness, the choices we make, the slipperiness of youth and the terrifying inevitability of growing old. Enter Sir Captain Jason Bigsby, retired, once a ladies’ man, previously a man’s man and Britain’s go-to man in times of need a very long time ago. Land of Hope and Glory will ring in your ears in this fine and funny farce about how far optimism, British pluck, and a stiff upper lip can get you. Sir Captain Jason Bigby is a war hero completely oblivious to his own inadequacies, situation, and the existence to anyone else. A madcap romp with some clever prop work and all round silliness. Jolly good show, eh, wot?
